DESCRIPTION

  • Players performs forward jumps using both legs
  • Pausing after landing for few seconds.
  • Players should try to jump as far as possible.

 

COACHING POINTS

  • In this drill, player works on leg strength.
  • By performing long jumps, players learn how to generate maximum power using their lower body and also they strengthen the quads that will help them to execute slice shots.
  • Players should try to coordinate lower and upper body to achieve maximum distance in every jump.
