DESCRIPTION

  • Player keeps light dumbbell in one hand.
  • Player takes position with the back of the hand pointing up and performs up and down motions using only the wrist.

COACHING POINTS

  • The player works on strengthening forearm and wrist muscles.
  • Stability here is necessary to achieve control of shots and to avoid any potential injuries related to repetitions of given shots.
  • This simple exercise should be used as a part of warm up or as a part of regular physical training.
