Forehand Inside Out And In

Help your players win more points than ever before by using the inside out and in forehand!

Quick Feet Ball Warm Up:

Player stands on the baseline and rolls the ball forward. They then run forward to catch up with the ball, but instead of picking it up, they use quick feed to run around the ball before running forward to catch it up again and do the same.

Agility & Fitness

Awareness of the opponent:

Coach stands in the middle of the court and feeds the ball to the advantage side. The coach will then move left or right, and the player has to be aware of where the coach has moved, and hit a forehand to the open area opposite to where the coach is stood.

Forehand Drills

Specific Footwork - Run Around:

Coach demonstrates proper footwork to hit forehand inside out/in. Players try to imitate this footwork without hitting the ball to make it more natural. Players take big cross over step behind and jump from both legs to achieve stable position before imitating hitting the ball.

Movement

Direct The Inside:

Coach feeds easy balls to the advantage side. The player runs around and hits a forehand inside out/in, aiming for the ball to land between the two cones.
