DESCRIPTION

The coach stands on one side of the court. Students line up.

The first student hits ball to the coach and then moves to end of the line.

Point continues with students alternating.

COACHING POINTS

If a student misses or hits a ball out of the singles court, then he is out of the game. Last student playing wins the game.

lateral backhands (forward):

Dead ball feed
Players start off in forehand doubles corner and ply to backhands along baseline. As player moves towards the ball they keep racket prepared and the last step before contact should be towards.

Backhand Drills

Backhand:

Coach feeds live ball to Player who backhand returns

The coach then lays a cross court for the player who hits the ball at a target close to the baseline

Backhand Lateral with direction:

Live ball Drill
Coach feeds from position 1.
Players start off in forehand doubles alley and execute shots with direction. player has to to hit the first ball back to the coach to then hit the second shot down the line.

Backhand Drills

Backhand winner down the line:

The coach stands in front of the player and feeds in an easy ball to the player who starts off in the forehand doubles alley.

When the ball is ready to be hit the player should play the first shot back to the coach and the second shot should be played as a winner down the line.
