DESCRIPTION

  • The player and the coach face each other in short distance between them
  • They use 2 balls at the same time
  • One player throws the ball in the air and other player kicks the ball on the ground
  • Players try to maintain exercise without losing the rhythm

COACHING POINTS

  • In this drill the player works on coordination, ball perception, rhythm and focus
  • Trying to pass the ball by alternating kicking and throwing, kids learn how to control the rhythm, change the focus as also to coordinate the movement of the lower and upper body
  • To make this exercise more competitive, the coach can tell players to make as many passes as possible in a row to see the biggest possible number
