Players are working in groups of three.
Player 1 is the 'working' player and players 2 and 3 are feeding the ball.
Player 1 must hit only forehands and must hit one shot inside out to player 3 and one shot inside in to player 2.
Player 2 hits forehands line, player 3 hits backhands cross.
Wherever the ball lands, it is player 1's job to hit a forehand off the shot.
They must do so even if it is unrealistic - for the purpose of the drill and to encourage players to get used to running around their backhands to hit forehands.
Players 2 and 3 should be encouraged to keep their intensity up even though they are feeding and working in a half court.
In this drill you should be looking for fast feet and a high work rate from all players.
Rotate positions after 5 minutes.
