Picks could be another word for steals.
Lateral movements with ball %3A e.g left wing goes to pivot position when he's not in posession of the ball. Another one of these movements could be left back going into left pivot position.
Mostly used to create disorder in defense, so the defense has to shift laterally and giving over tasls to other defenders which mostly goes wrong. Attack can then make use of this disorder to score a goal.
Pivoting %3A playing right in between the defenders to screen and block ways of defenders. Positions can vary from betwee firt and second defender on both sides.
