My son's 7th and 8th grade tennis team do not have a coach for this season. I am thinking of voluteering to coach but do not know where to get information and what to do to get started. Can you give me some suggestions? Thanks.
With respect, if they want to be 'taken forward' they will have the greatest success if you can get a coach. Is it lack of money or they just can't find one?
Whats your tennis background? I would have more confidence in you, had you not said "I do not know where to get started". However I sense a lack of understanding based on this question and recommend that perhaps you go on a level 1 coaching course, at least this way you would have the concept of 'coaching tennis'.
Anyway thats my cent.
