Here are some Sportplan footwork & recovery drills (tennis):
Rally with Recovery (Backhand) â Hit, recover to centre, run around cone.
Backhand/Forehand Recovery â Alternate shots down the line, always recover middle.
Change of Direction â Forehand then chase a short ball, recover quickly.
Serve & Recover â Serve then reset behind baseline fast.
Smile Movement â Move baseline in âsmileâ shape, recover at centre.
All focus on quick steps, returning to base, and mixing directions to mimic match play.
