Setting a Screen Screening - B...

Player 1 with the ball. Player 2 sets the screen at either side of the defender. When the screen is set player 1 fakes to the opposite side then crosses back to rub shoulders with the screener, before dribbling past and either taking a shot or a lay up.

Phantom pick and roll drill Sc...

Players stand in three lines, the players nearest the half-way line start with the ball in hand. The blue players starts the drill by making the pass to the white players, and then sets the screen for the red player. The red player then cuts off the top of the screen towards the ball. Meanwhile the blue player will reverse pivot and roll towards the basket. <br />The White players can choose to pass to either the red or blue player to have the shot.

Off the ball screen Passing - ...

Off the ball screen, practiced in a closed situation. In threes players set up in a triangle. The player at the top passes the ball in either direction then sets the screen on the opposite side to where they have just played their pass. The player behind the screen curls round towards the basket and receives a pass from the player with the ball to shoot a lay-up. The shooting player then collects the ball and runs to the top of the triangle to start the drill again.

Setup the practice as shown. Player 3 runs into the arc and runs off the screen created by player 2 before receiving the ball from player 1, turning and then shooting. Player 3 then collects the ball and returns the ball back to player 1.

One attacking player sets up near sideline with the ball. 2 defenders set up in line to defend players.Other attacking player sets a screen on first defender. This opens the player up for a pass and a shot or clears the way for a lay up.

Setup the practice as shown.Split the group into two teams.First team to score 10 baskets is the winner.On the command both teams dribble to the middle of the 3 point line, cross-over and then shoot. The player that has a shot has to go and get their ball and pass it back to the next person in the queue.

The screen goes to be set on the dribbler, the screeners defender will hedge out early to stop the ball. This is where the screener will slip directly to the basket for a lay up.

After Player 1 passes they will cut down towards the baseline, after a few steps they will cut back across towards the ball where they will receive a pass where they will catch and shoot.Player 1 will get the rebound and pass the ball out to player 2.Player 2 will pass the ball to the player at the front of the line and will join the back.Player 1 will become the next passer

Player 1 passes the ball inside the key to player 2 and follows their pass. Before they enter they key player 1 cuts out to receive the return pass from player 2. At this point player 1 should dribble towards the basket with the intention of scoring. However, as soon as player 2 passes the ball they are allowed to close down and put pressure on player 1. Once Player 1 has taken their shot player 2 should collect the ball and drive out of the area before joining the back of the attacking queue. Player 1 joins the back of the defending queue.

With the basketball starting in the corner line.The ball will be passed from the corner to the line at the top.Once passed that player will run towards the free-throw line and receive the ball back.When that pass has been made, the player from the top line will run around the cone and towards the basket where they will receive the ball for a shot.Players will switch lines.
