Hi has anyone got a good warm up routine for a under 18 team before a match?
I am a coach of a U10 girlâs team, who for the majority haven't previously played. I'm finding that they are now shying away from the ball and moving backwards instead of closing the gap, tackling or putting the attacking team under pressure when they have the ball. Does anyone have any tips or drills that I can use to help them overcome this?

There are a number of pupils in my class that don't know the basic skills needed to play football, they lack the skills needed and the discipline. Because of that I'm asking if any of you have some ideas what to do? Ideally I need ideas on what to do to help get my class into shape and to start learning the basics.
Hi, can anyone suggest an effective warm up routine / drill for an under 12's side before a match?
I'm looking for a drill to teach my players to not always drive forward, but rather play the ball back away from pressure to a trailing player.. Any ideas? The players are between 10 and 13 yo.
I want to get my team to play possession football but some players, especially defenders get very panicked on the ball and seem to be unable to retain possession. Anyone got any ideas of how to change this?
Key Point 1 â Slightly Cut Off the Passing Option.Key Point 2 â Keep the ball in front of you so you can stay goal side.Key Point 3 â Force them to shoot near post.Key Point 4 â Donât over commit!Key Point 5 â Drop off.
