Balloon Passing

Diving pivot shot

The attacking player on the 7 meter line stands between the cones. When the diagonal pass is made by one of the feeders on the baseline the attacker runs around the opposite cone, catches the ball and shoots at the goal. Repeat this 4 times and then rotate your players clockwise.

Dribble across the zone

The white players try to cross the court area by dribbling. There is one blue player stationed between the first cone zone who tries to snatch balls from the white players. There are also two blue players trying to snatch balls in the second zone.

Dribble tennis

Players work in pairs with one ball and a hoop lying between the players. Without touching the ball with two hands, players play tennis by bouncing the ball via the hoop to each other.

Fast Break - Keeper Feed 1v1

Set up two equal lines of players on both side of the baseline and two defenders just beyond the half way line. All baseline players have a ball each. The move starts with a one-two pass from the player on the baseline to the keeper. Upon playing the pass the players should run forward and receive the pass from the keeper on the run. After this players dribble the ball up court at speed. Once the attackers cross the half way line the defenders are allowed to put pressure on the attacker. Drill continues until a shot/interception has been made.

Multi-Goal Game

Play inside half a court, with two equal numbered teams. All around the court place three different goals - a hoop, a pair of cones and a mat. Each team attacks all goals and they can score by: Dribbling between the cones Pressing the ball onto the mat Bouncing the ball inside the hoop.

Handball: Wallball - Double bo...

Create two pitches on either side of the court near a wall, each with two equal areas. Two players from one team stand in one half of the pitch and then two players from the other team in the other half of the pitch. The team in possession throws the ball against the wall to bounce it into the enemy's area. The ball must bounce at least once inside the opposition's area. If the ball bounces twice in this area the throwing team wins a point. Play first to 10 before rotating the teams.

White 1 and White 2 pass the ball back and forth together. When the time is right the next player in line (in this case blue 1) runs out and intercepts the ball. They then dribble up court and throw at the goal.

There is one hoop less than the number of children. Play the music and kids run around. When you stop the music, the children must look for a hoop and stand in it. To set this game up you need a gymnastics bench at each side of the half court and two back to back benches (or a large gymnastics box if available) laying flat inside the middle of the area. In this middle area there should be a white player defending their side of the bench and a blue player defending their side. The white team tries to score by hitting the ball on the blue's side of the bench and the white side tries to score on the blue's side of the central bench. After every failed attempt to score the team who made the shot must touch one of the benches on either side of the area.

Two equal teams play inside a half court area. The aim of this game is to see which team can play the most passes in a 30 second period! The blue team go first and keep count of how many successful passes they complete. If the other team intercept/tackle the player in possession they must put the ball on the floor for the other team to pick up and continue playing. After 30 seconds swap teams and repeat.
