Set out a rectangle with 4 players set out as in Blue. Two players inside with 2 coned or small net goals. In this case Orange player recieves and ball he calls and tries to score in either goal. Yellow player man marks and is tasked with stopping the goal. After the scoring player has had 4 attempts to score they change over. Each set of outside players then take the centre drill up.
Great drill with small numbers training through the Summer etc. Excellent for dummy runs, asking for a pass into space not to feet. dummy calls quick turns etc. Grid can be extended for older more competent player. Also works on large grid with it being 2 v 2. Try it and leave a feedback please ive found it a great drill that gives both tempo and intensity to a drill. For more advanced players put a clock on the drill and time it adds the competition factor vto the drill
