Form two teams and have each team line up ourside the designed area behind the green cones. Coach plays a ball into the area, and first three players in line for each side try to win the ball. The team that wins the ball becomes the attackers and the other team defenders. They play 3v3 in the area with the attacking team trying to score. If the defending team wins the ball, they must clear it from the area. When they clear it from the area, a member of the other team must leave the area and recover the ball returning it to the ball area near midfield. The defending team becomes the attacking team the moment the ball is cleared out of the area. They retrieve a ball from the ball area and begin playing immediately 3v2 while the other player fetches the ball that was cleared. Once the player returns the ball to the ball area, their team can send another player so they are back to 3v3. If the keeper gets the ball, they can clear the ball, and the defenders become the attackers.
Encourage each team to choose their order with mixed ability levels so they do not have all the strongest players on the field at the same time. There is an element of fitness for this game.
