Progession from previous drill: Same principle Player A Passes to player B who recives the ball and run to cone C. We have now added a Shooting exercise in which player A crosses the ball into the box from cone 3. In the exercise use a left and right side for players to practice both feet. Player C becomes active when ball is at cone 3. Can add defenders or Manquins into the box and passing lanes to add difficulty. All players to play all roles at a younger age, allow 4 attemps before changing players roles. Player B as the drill progress can become a defender or as a 2nd attacker, give the player the choice.
Does the speed of the play go up? Can players continue to use 1 or touch when passing? Can players cross while moving? are they stronger on one particular side? Can the players get thier heads up and look where there attacker is? Can the players cross both high and low? Can the attacker communicate when moving where they want the cross, can the attacker anticpate where the cross is going to go? Can the attacker shoot within 1/2 touches?
