- 1st touch technique towards target, out of feet, about a full stride away, no bounce or spin - striking technique planting foot toes just past the ball, approx half a ball width away, laces driven through the center of the ball, toes pointed to the target, follow through strong and land on kicking foot to curl - strike lower outside quadrant of the ball with the front instep of the foot and follow through the center of the ball, heel to the target, landing on both feet, sometimes cross legged
