The red players are defenders. The blue players are atackers. One of the defenders plays a long ball to one off the attackers, then the othe defender goes into a 2vs 1 with the two attackers, the aim is the get past the players and score past the keeper, this happens on both sides one after another, for prgression it could go into a 2vs 2.
The defend to play a long ball has to lean back to get a bit of heigth on the pass to challenge the attacker. One of the strikers will touch the ball down then dribble forwards shile the other stricker will find space to either have a chance to get a pass or open up space for the player with the ball. The defend will have to stand side on wards trying to play him wide so he can not get past or play the pass to other striker. If the striker goes through on goal he will need to stay compased, when shooting keep his head over the ball so the shot dosent rise.
