Have players split into two groups and each group should line up behind either the first orange cone or the first red cone. Have a single player from one side go first and begin dribbling through their color cones. Have the players change from their dominant to non-dominant foot for dribbling as they turn the corner for each cone. Preferably, they are switching to their left foot as they round the cones on their left side and their right foot as they round the cones on their right side. As that player reaches their last color cone (in this case the blue player has reached their last yellow cone) and begins working their way back downfield through the alternate color cones, have a player from the other group begin moving through their own color cones. As that player reaches their last color cone (the red player turning the corner for their last red cone) then send the next player from the alternate side. This drill will force the players to dribble and turn corners with both their dominant and non-dominant foot as well as keeping their head up to survey the field to ensure they know where the next cone is as well as ensuring they don't run into the other player that is making his way through the cones.
Discuss with the players the importance of keeping their heads up to survey the field so that they don't run into the other players moving their way through the course or lose track of the cones.
