In the session two groups of 5 players will line up behind two cones. Two cones will be placed opposite to the starting cones at a distance of 15 meters. Players will begin dribbling from the starting cone and dribble around the opposite cone and come back to the starting cone. The players in this session can use whichever foot they feel comfotable in. Progression will involve the following ways a) Dribble in whichever way comfortable b) Dribble with the inside foot c) Dribble with the outside foot.
Coaches need to make sure that the players are getting as many touches as they can and not kicking the ball and chasing it. Provide ample distance between the two dribbling lanes to avoid collision Introduce an extra dribbling lane if you feel the need to up the intensity Encourage the players verbally and always keep a positive atmosphere
