Set up a box roughly 10x6yds (orange cones) with another line approximately 15yds back (white cones). The drill starts with player 1 (red) facing player 2 (blue) and either side of the box. Player 2 has their back to the white cones. The drill starts when the players pass the ball back and forth to each other. Player 2 will aim to turn with the ball and race through the white cones when they decide. Player 1 can't go until Player 2 has decided to turn. Player 1 aims to get through the white cones before player 2. The aim is to transition to dribbling at pace while under pressure but keeping control. Progress to using weaker foot/side. Also change it to have the players pass across the box and when player 2 goes for the line player 1 has to touch the cone furthest back then race to the line
Decide and commit to turn Accelerate towards the line with the ball Push the ball in front but not too far Keep under control
