Attack are 1 player up and heading towards goal. Defence should as a team decide how to play situation. One defender should always go to the ball and the other must split between the others. For additional benefit, at the start of the drill the attackers must call for the ball and the goalie will clear to one of them.
Communication is key during this drill, as the players will discover. Attaclears should note that if they split free players it is harder for the defence to control the situation.
