The aim of this is to develop all fundamental skills in a game. Set up teams,as before, making sure each team has a designated caller and a goal to defend/ score in. The ball is rolled out by the caller, then after every 20 seconds of play an additional number is called out. Players have only 4 seconds to hold onto the ball otherwise possession of the ball is given to the other team. A point is earned when a goal is scored. After every goal, a new number is called out and the game is restarted. The team with the highest score at the end wins. Progressions: Some ideas to progress the game further: 1.Start with two numbers 2.Goals can only be scored after a dodge 3.Introduce checking for defenders 4.Face/ Draw to start game
Focus points: Have hands wide apart on stick when picking up ball. Relax hands on stick when shooting or passing the ball. Be direct and go for goal; points can't be scored unless the ball goes in the back of the net!
