Using the same cone set up, split the team into 4 groups (each group going to a corner of the cone set up). Idea of the drill is to play within a confined space, the attackers have to score and the defenders have to defend their line. Players on the same side and on the same team BUT CAN NOT cross over the middle line of cones. Players must have their gear on (mouth guards, shoulder pads, head gear etc.) If a defending team tackles the player with the ball and makes them land on their back, the ball is handed over to the other team. If the player with the ball gets tackled but lands on their front, they keep the ball. The goal of this is to have the team come up with support runners and marking up, as well as forcing the player with the ball to their back - slower play the ball in a match, and for the player with the ball to land on their front.
