
8 v 5 Spatial Awareness Drill
RULES: Defender passes the ball directly to an Attacking player, opposite to them. Once the attacking player has received the ball, that triggers a live game and both attackers and defenders can move. Key points for the attacking team is spacial awareness, push support and pass execution. Key points for defending outfit is effort, scramble, communication, staying connected. The attacking side has 3 plays to score a try, so if the defending side defend the first play, then the attacker will play the ball A coach will then referee the plays to follow, keeping the 10m. If a TRY is scored, the player who scored has 10 secs to bring the ball directly back and attempt to slot a field goal from TRY scoring point SCORING 4 POINTS = TRY 1 POINT = CONVERTED DROP GOAL FROM TRY SCORED
