7 Drills to improve Ball Handling and reduce Turnovers - Review the basics of ball handling and dribbling basics with your players and cut down on needless turnovers

Teams of 4-6 players with one ball. Players line up with their backs to the court and the gaps between the players are length of their hands. The first player in line has a ball. On the signal from the coach, the player with the ball hands it to the second player over the head and runs to the end of the line. The second player hands the ball to the third player under the legs and runs to the end of the line and continues over and under. The winner is the team who comes first to finish line.
Rules:
--Players cannot move their feet when they hand off the ball.
--If the ball drops to the floor, they must start again from starting point.

Set up two wide cones with 2 teams facing each other.

Both teams are going in the same direction around the cones.

The goal is to catch up with the other team to tag or over take them. The team that does this is the winner.

Each player will complete a full circle around both cones before passing to the next player.

Players dribble their ball outside from island to island without being caught by the catcher. The catcher is not allowed on the Islands. Anybody caught goes to a prison island.

Each player has a basketball. At the end of each baseline put a football goal. The coach has a volleyball. Each player must hold his or her basketball with both hands (fingertips). The game starts in the central circle. The coach bounces the volleyball and players must hit the volleyball with the basketball and try to score a goal.
