OFTEN USED WITH...

1-step and left hip pass:

Step with your left foot and pass off the left hip against a wall 3 m away. Make the pass return so you can catch without having to move. Then step backwards and into position to repeat the exercise.

Behind the Back Pass:

Arm loops behind the back with the ball. Release the ball when the arm is behind the back and beyond the spine to get the accuracy on the pass.

1-5 Post Passing:

The player underneath the basket begins with a ball and tosses if off the backboard, simulating a rebound. They then pass to the point guard on the wing and sprints forward, while the player on the wing dribbles with quick feet through the cones.

Once the player dribbling has reach the end of the cones, they will then pass to the player on the run for a lay up.

Ball Handling Circuit:

The most important thing is that you get your players used to handling the basketball. You should make it so the basketball feels like it an extension of your hand.
