Improving your players' Vertical Jump

Use this plan to increase your players' vertical jump! This session involves plyometrics designed to be used in tandem with your basketball training.

To add height to your players' jumps this plyometrics session works on your players' fast and powerful movements, through a series of explosive exercises designed to improve fitness, muscular power (required for jumping) and overall speed.

Additional benefits of this session

  • Teach players the proper and safe technique required for jumping and landing
  • To give players a great plyometric program they can progress themselves
  • Great session for shorter players to boost their confidence when they're up against taller opponents.

This program is design to be completed over a 10 week period, completed 3 times per week and should be used as a supplement to your basketball training and strength training.
