Having the ability to identify when the opposition is out of shape or when certain players are out of position should influence how you attack them. The best teams in the world are able to exploit the opposition when players are caught out of position or make mistakes in certain areas of the pitch.
What's in the session?
This session is focused on the attacking principles required when opponents are either in or out of balance.
Players will be able to recognise when opponents are in and out of shape, and therefore attack with purpose to create goal scoring opportunities.
This session will look at speed and tempo of play, passing forward quickly, timing/quality of movement, support play and exploiting space.
The session is aimed at players U14+.
