How much time do you spend working with your shot-stoppers - improving their technique between the sticks? If truth be told, probably not enough, that's why this week we work specifically on your keeper's footwork.
Sometimes, to try and kill two birds with one stone, keeping practice often consists of shooting practice. The problem with this though is it doesn't help your goalies to grow in confidence - they've got very little chance of saving many of these shots!
What's in the session?
To help improve your keeper's positioning this week we focus on your last man in defence. By concentrating on your keeper's footwork you can reduce the amount of work your keeper needs to do in order to get their body behind the ball - better positioning in goal also means they won't need to dive so much!
