In this drill blue 2 is the feeder (devil's advocate).
Their job is to pass the ball in between the defender and the attacker on both sides of the court. Whoever is first to the ball must pass the ball back to the feeder and return to their starting point.
The feeder should mask which side they are going to play the ball to so as to keep all the players on their toes.
The feeder can also vary the pace and variety of pass to make it difficult for all players in their personal defensive/ offensive duels.
Variation:
Attackers and defenders must stand facing the wrong direction, players on the left are team 1 and players on the right are team 2.
When the feeder shouts either 'team 1' or 'team 2' that side must turn around and run in to try and win the ball.
