Handball: Feint + pass to pivot

DESCRIPTION

Pass A to space making B.

Pass B1 to C - in the meanwhile B1 retreats and comes forward again.

Defender 1 comes foward: pass to pivot D when he moves to left or right.

COACHING POINTS

Pivot D starts moving when B1 has just begun the feint movement.

Pass in front of the pivot.
Pass in the space left or right depending of the direction he moves.
With a bounce pass.
Train all different passing possiblities!

OFTEN USED WITH...

Feint + shoot or Feint + pass to pivot:

Pass A to space making B.

Pass B1 to C - in the meanwhile B1 retreats and comes forward again.

If defender 1 comes foward: feint and shoot OR pass to pivot D if he moves to left or right.

Shoot + screening pivot:

Pass A to space making B.

Pass B1 to C - in the meanwhile B1 retreats and comes forward again.

Defender 1 does not come foward then B shoots from the distance.

Pivot D screens defenders 1 and 2 so that they cannot come forward.

Shooting with large groups 2:

Players A pass to B, move to left (right) and back to the center, get pass back from B and shoot at the goal against blocking defenders 2. Defenders should make the gap close, but not completely close off everything. There should always be a gap between the cones.

Shooting with large groups 3:

Players A pass to B, move to left (right) and back to the center, get pass back from B and pass to either C1 or C2 who come forward to screen defender 1 in the back who throws at the goal.
