In this Session we aim to get your players moving forwards, responding to short balls whilst also working on their soft hands and shot disguising - as they also work on mastering the dark art of the drop shots.
Even the best players occasionally are caught under the spell of a deftly played drop-shot (see the video of Novak Djokovic surprising Lleyton Hewitt with a cheeky backhand drop-shot in this Session).
However, with the right sort of practice your players will be able to see through their opponent's invisibility cloak and meet the ball with an open racquet - ready to return whilst moving at speed.
To make sure your players don't get left for dead on the baseline all the exercises in this session are there to work on both sides of the net - playing drop-shots and returning them! By focusing on awareness, fast feet and soft hands all your players will be transformed into crafty Drop-Shot wizards!
