how do you change the action of a young inexperienced bowler who is taking off on the wrong foot
Hi Alan,
It can be difficult to change the action of someone who has already started bowling. You need to take it all the way back to the start. I suggest starting them off balancing on the correct take off foot (other foot in the air) in the coiled position, then pushing off with the take off foot into the delivery stride. Once they are comfortable doing this, get them to take a few steps back and walk into it. Again once they are comfortable you can gradually build it up from there into a full run.
