Defending against a full toss (for U12s)?
From a child's (U12s) batting perspective, what is the best way to play or defend a full toss or high bounce delivery? Most of these are disallowed at U12s but it seems a good idea to start working out how to play these sorts of deliveries. Thanks
Why would you want to start by defending against a full toss? Surely these are the deliveries to encourage the boys to get after and score runs from?
Obviously they do have that tendency to try smacking it into the middle of next week and skying it straight to mid-off, so the way forward might be getting back-and-across and hitting the ball into space,
put yor bat in front of ball and defense
