At 6 most kids have trouble swinging the bat, so let them have as much fun as possible when they start out. Make their goals easily achievable so they feel good about playing. Don`t worry about them getting out, concentrate on letting them develop their hand eye coordination by hitting the ball, simple catching, bowling and encouraging them to do as much throwing as possible. Above all make whatever you plan on doing, FUN FUN FUN.
