Difficulty on playing spin bowlers

Difficulty on playing spin bowlers

I'm an wicket keeper batsman from Mumbai and play under-16. I'm finding it difficult to bat to spin bowling, and I get out most of the times at silly point or short leg. I'm also low on confidence on spinners, would anyone be able to give me some advice and help me with some useful drills for this please? Thank you!

It would seem to me that getting out continually to silly point or short leg means that you aren't using your feet to get to the pitch of the ball.

I remembered reading this article some time ago, but only just located it. It provides much more detail on the subject than I could in this format.

If you are a wicket keeper then you should already have some skill at reading the ball out of the spinners hand. Make sure you apply that skill to your batting.

Best of luck.

Just remember that luck always improves with more practice.
