The players are split in to 3 groups of 4 (plus 2 goalkeepers). The narrow half-pitch is split in to 3 zones. The 3 teams begin in one zone each. The ball always starts with the goalkeeper. There is a maximum of 3 touches for all players. He must play it out to one of the orange players and they must play a minimum of 3 passes before they can play the ball across in to the far zone. The defensive team (black) must close down the team in possession (maximum of 3 players can leave middle zone). If the orange team complete a ground pass to the white team, the white team must pass back to their goalkeeper and the session restarts. If the black team win possession of the ball, they must attack the goal. They then swap with the team that lost possession. Every time a team loses possession, they become the defensive team.
Practices communication between the defensive players, quick short passing and long ground passes. The players must switch quickly when the middle team changes to keep the session flowing.
