Player D plays a long ball in to blue GK. Defender must get on ball and play forward. Blue team are tasked with dribbling ball over the half way line. Red team to win ball back and have shot on goal.
Red forward locks on to LCB (in game this will be the CB we dont really getting on the ball. Red deeper attacker (A) starts as a screen for midfield and encourages ball to RCB. As soon as pass is played, A sprints to RCB showing out. Left sided mid closes RB with all other players in midfield tucking over, and CB on same side as the ball offering depth. If ball is bounced back to GK, other forward drops in and encourages ball to LCB and same press is worked on opposite side. Forwards work a V shape. Option 2 - If CBs come higher and LB/RB get on the ball, it is wide midfielder that presses (showing inside/outide - depending on formation of opponents and strengths in midfield/wide) The rest of the midfileld screen across and FB goes a little higher.
