Postional take up when a ball reaches a winger. ST: Just gets a little close to the midfield and the opposing full back position so that if the ball is palyed back he can press the right areas quickly. Wingers: If the ball is your side of the pitch you drop in to double up on their wide player, doing it in a manner that makes it tough for the wide player to give it back to the full back, opposite winger, drops back in to support your full back, allowing our full back to tuck in and sweep up where needed. AM: Drops into the midfield to make sure their deepest midfielder does not get a run on our midfield. CM: Stick with you man. Full backs: Nearest full back, get tight to your winger. Furthest full back, tuck in to sweep up behind CB's whilst being aware of your wide player. DM: Tuck in between CB's to cover if one has to get drawn to cover our full back. CB's, get tighet to your striker, and make sure you are pushing them wide.
