
Dribbling skills arrival activity. 20x20 area 5 Yard diameter centre circle (trees) # blue cones random spread outside circle (lamppost) Each player has a ball (dog) The players dribble around the area using various parts of their foot. approaching , but turning their dog (ball) away from the lampposts (blue cones) The players can dribble through the centre area - however must demonstrate a skill whilst doing so (encourage extravagance) Upon the call of "it's raining!" all players must quickly take their dog to shelter in the trees.
Encourage players to move quickly around the area. Praise individuals for showing / attempting flare. Acknowledge good close ball (dog) control (keep your dog on a short lead) Recognise individuals observational skills - looking up and not colliding with others. Encourage variety of skills, part of foot used, both feet, turns and speed.
