3 PERSON PASSING
SET UP: ⢠3 players in a line approx. 5m to 10m apart (more room is better). 2 balls per line at each end. ⢠1 cone at each end and 1 in the middle INSTRUCTIONS: ⢠1 player at each end and 1 player in the middle ⢠First player passes ball to middle and middle player passes back ⢠Middle player turns to opposite side and receives pass. ⢠Players swap roles after 5-10 passes (count a pass from a side as 1 pass). First player goes to middle, middle player goes to opposite end and that player goes to first player position COACHING HINTS: ⢠âCall for the ballâ â middle player needs to call for the ball before player sends. ⢠Move back and move forward â Move back from player to make space and move to player when ball is passed ⢠Athletic stance so that they are always ready. This is for all players, not just the middle. PROGRESSION (time permitting) ⢠Using one ball, first player passes to middle, middle player will turn with the ball (avoid stopping ball) and pass to opposite side. ⢠Using one ball, first player passes to middle, middle passes back to first player, first player âchipsâ to opposite side.
