Set up the line of cones as indicated with 3 yards between each cone. A Red player/coach is 5 yards off the line and a series of Green players are 5 yards off the other side of the line. The first Green player plays the ball to the Red player/coach through the center gate. The Green player then runs forward through the yellow gate and show for the ball. The Red player/coach will play the ball back to the Green player as they travel through the gate, telling them to turn "left" or "right". The Green player will redirect the ball with their first touch in that direction, then play it to the next green player through the orange and yellow cone gate. The Green player goes to the back of the line, then the next player goes.
For older players, players can take turns being the Red player. Coaches should be the Red player for the younger ages. The Green player should communicate and call for the ball back from the Red player/coach.
