Avoid The Cones: Players will dribble around among the cones scattered in the grid, attempting to avoid touching them. The coach will give them different directions such as dribble with left/right foot, switch balls with another player, etc. At different intervals, the coach will tell players to pick up certain colored cones and run it back to the coach as quick as possible. Then the coach will scatter them again and play will resume. Scrimmage: Regular scrimmage with free play. Clear The Yard: Two teams will pass the ball back and forth until all the balls are on one side of the cones. The team that gets rid of all their balls first wins. Treasure Hunting: The players will be divided into three or four teams depending on the number of players, and will attempt to get as many balls as they can. When the coach says go, one player from each team will run out and dribble a ball back. Once they return, their partner can run out and dribble another one back. The coach can set an appropriate end point (first to 3, etc.) Focus on taking small, quick touches.
