Gymnastics: Straddle forward roll from apparatus to straddle sit

COACHING POINTS

From inclined box shape (knees on apparatus and hands on the floor).

Turn hands outwards, arms straight and tense.

Straighten legs to lift hips high.

Walk toes forward to push shoulders in front of wrists, keeping arms straight.

Drop head to see legs straight

Fold nose to knees while pushing off from toes to place upper back on mat.

Roll forward down the spine.

See legs straight, straddle legs to exit to straddle sit.
