DESCRIPTION

Two teams form one circle and stand so that members of the blue team are separated by players on the white team.

Both teams start with a ball on opposite sides of the circle and pass the ball around in a clock-wise direction.

The team that can overtake the ball of the other team by passing it to each other fastest is the winner.

COACHING POINTS

Variation:

At any point the coach can shout "change direction". Players must immediately swap the direction of the passing and continue the game in the other direction.

Passing game:

One player stands about 2-3 meters in front of the other players.

This player is the feeder for their group and passes to the other players.

Once a player has caught the ball from the feeder and passed it back, they run to the back of their own queue.

Dribble tennis:

Players work in pairs with one ball and a hoop lying between the players.

Without touching the ball with two hands, players play tennis by bouncing the ball via the hoop to each other.

Number ball:

Players stand in a circle, with one player in the middle.

Red player 1 has starts with the ball. He calls out the name of one of his team-mates and then throws the ball high up in the air.

This player whose name has been called has to catch the ball before it reaches the floor.

If they don't reach the ball in time they lose a point.

Who is back first ?:

Players are in a circle.
Pairs are opposite eachother and get the same number.
When the trainer calls out a number, the pair in question sprint to the ball and try to get it before the other one of the pair does.

Variations
- just touch the ball and sprint back : Who is back first ?
- run backwards back to your position
- hop one one leg to the ball and back
- make the distance to the ball larger, shorter
