DESCRIPTION

Two set wing players.
Attackers 2 and 3 try to score a goal when passing to 1 or 4.
Defenders 1,2 and 3 try to prevent passing to 1 and 4 and goal shot.

COACHING POINTS

8 tries.
Attackers always run back to middle line for new attempt.

OFTEN USED WITH...

Attackers play give-and-go.
Defenders 2 should stay in their hoops.
Attacker 1 throws at the goal.

Give and Go - 2 vs 2:

The 2 attacker must progress up the court and get past both defenders, one at a time before having a shot on goal.

Players can use a mixture of passes, feints and fakes to progress up the court.

Fake run - Receive the pass:

Attacker 2 passes inside to player 1 in the middle.

They then deliberately run towards the defender on their side of the court.

They continue their run and use a fake to wrong-foot the defender, before pushing off their outside foot and driving off in the opposite direction - ready to receive the pass!
