Blue players take it in turns to dribble forward and shoot on goal.
However, there's 3 defenders in their way, so in order to make space for the shot players will have to shoot at hip height to avoid the defender's wide arms.
To begin with defenders will deliberately give space for the shot at hip height, with arms wide in the air and legs spread apart. This will leave a gap for the attackers to shoot through.
As the drill progresses you can give the defenders a more active role - allowing them to make more substantial efforts to intercept the ball.
Variation:
Get the blue players to work in pairs, passing the ball between themselves as they approach before one of them has a shot on goal.
