DESCRIPTION

Blue attackers pass the ball around, defenders try to defend by sealing off passing ways by using their arms and hands and by standing in front of players.

COACHING POINTS

Change defenders after 1 minute.

W1 and W2 must be forced to go far from the goal area. Try to put them into a position which is unfavourable to score a goal.

When B4 passes to B3, R1 runs forward to B1 to defend.
When B4 passes to B5, R2 runs forward to B2 to defend.

variation :
- complete man-to-man defence on wing player
- run forward, position diagonally, face to the ball, in between attacker and goal : R1 has got right hand in front of B1 and R2 has got left hand in front of B2
- let wing player catch the ball whereafter a duel far from the goal

B pass around and try to pass to pivot W1.
R1 and R2 run forward to defend their back court players and sprint back to defend pivot W1.
