DESCRIPTION

Zigzag course.
From 1 with sidesteps forward to 2, then make a half turn and with sidesteps backwards to 3, make a half turn and with sidesteps forward to 4, etc.

COACHING POINTS

Distance between cones is 3 meters.

Do the drill at full speed 3 - 5 times or for 30 seconds.

Variations:

Go around the cones.

Go as far as the cones and touch them with one hand.

warming-up : Cross-over pass and follow:

Players stand in groups behind different cones.

Players must pass the ball to the player opposite them and then follow their pass behind the player on the opposite side.

Players can use a variation of passes:

Center shot, jump shot (3,2,1 step rhythm), push pass, bounce pass, double handed pass, rolled pass, pass using your weaker hand etc.

warming-up : keep the straight passing line:

variations in passing :
- (center shot with pressure into the direction of the goal), threatening to throw at the goal
- (center shot with pressure into the direction of the goal), threatening to throw at the pivot
- jump shot (3,2,1 step rythym, jump off with 'wrong' foot
- push pass
- bounce pass
- with both hands
- roll the ball
- use 'wrong' hand

warming up

pulling/pushing:

Pairs, 1 ball, 1 hoop.
Both partners are in/outside the hoop. Try to push/pull eachother into/ out of the hoop.
