The aim of this exercise is to get the ball behind the three defenders in the zone. On achieving this, start again. Only one player at a time is allowed to run behind the zone.
The ball can either be carried through or passed through the zone.
This should be applied relative to your formation. If you play three at the back, you aren't going to ask one of the three to step through (use a deeper CM player breaking the line instead)
